Open Space Apartment

A recent interior design project, this open kitchen and living space was designed for a frequent traveller, who requested a cozy room and space to display his souvenirs. As the space is only 14sqm in total, we decided to take out the wall that separated the kitchen from the living room to create a light and open space. The colour combination of a warm dark grey with clean white and strong natural wood establishes a modern and bold atmosphere, while the timeless furniture is highlighted with an arrangement of art and thoroughly planned lighting. All these elements combine to create a modern and unique space, with unique and personal details such as the chest, the old wooden shelf or the all white faucet.

Created for a bachelor and on a tight budget, the design was kept simple, minimalist and functional, with an ikea kitchen and no wall units to emphasise the free spaces.
